Pricing Information

Prices for the hire of community halls, excluding Haggerston Hall, are as follows:

For private use:

£39 per hour for main hall hire (including use of kitchen) - up to 5 hours

£452 day rate for bookings over 5 hours

For community use i.e. by registered charities and other voluntary and community groups:

£26 per hour for main hall hire (including use of kitchen) - up to 5 hours

£258 day rate for bookings over 5 hours

Meeting room hire for private and community use is £22 per hour.

Tenants and resident groups (TRAs) registered with the London Borough of Hackney Housing Service can use community halls free of charge for their meetings and community activities and events. Enquiries about free bookings can be made through the bookings site by completing the enquiry form.

Haggerston Hall

Prices for the hire of Haggerston Community Hall are as follows:

For private use:

£54 per hour for the main hall (including use of the kitchen) 

For community use:

£27 per hour for the main hall (including use of kitchens and booking)

Payments for booking must be made in full at least four weeks prior to your hire date. Bookings are not confirmed until your payment is received in full and the hire agreement has been signed by the hirer.

In addition to the cost of your booking, we take a deposit of £200. This is returned within 14 days of the booking following an inspection of the hall after the event provided that the hall is in the same condition and other terms and conditions of use have not been breached.

If you need to cancel or postpone a booking, we will withhold the hall hire fees according to our sliding scale, but we will return the deposit. The following cancellation charges are applicable for all contracted bookings: 

13 days before the hire date - no cancellation charge

7- 12 days prior to hire date   - 50% of contracted hall hire fees charges

Less than 7 days prior to hire date   - 100% of contracted hall hire charges
